WIG WASHING DAY
NB: Before dipping your wig into the water, if your wig was made of frontal or closure and you glued it during an install, Use rubbing alcohol 91% and cotton wool to get rid of glue residues on your wig.
De-tangling
Gently detangle the hair from the tip of the hair to the roots with a wide tooth comb.
Washing
Immerse your wig in a bowl of cold water.
Use FERVID TROVE moisture rich coconut SHAMPOO n CONDITIONER
Thoroughly smear the shampoo on the wig.
Do not squeeze or wash it like how you hand wash your clothes.
Gently lift the wig in and out of the water.
Turn cap inside out and use circular motions to clean the cap.
Rinse the wig
Conditioning & Styling
Conditioning
Smear a good amount of moisture rich conditioner (SHAMPOO n CONDITIONER) on the wig.
Leave in for 15-30 minutes before rinsing.
When rinsing, let the water flow in the same direction of the hair to avoid tangling.
Do not wring the hair.
Place the wig in a towel and pat dry.
Remove from towel and allow it to airdry.
Styling
After air drying your wig, spray HEAT PROTECTANT SPRAY before straightening or wand curling it.
Use a pin tail or a rat tail comb to define your part.
Use EDGE CONTROL or mousse / STYLING FOAM to lay your edges.
